Technology and the changes associated with it affect the life in Europe increasingly. The validity of the knowledge decreases increasingly, technology cycles are in flux. For a lot of pupils the feeling grows that they are not able to keep up with all these developments and growth in competing countries. Therefore the young people must be substantially more flexible and more mobile today. The project activities are to help the pupils to develop attitudes and behaviours which enables them to learn self-directed at school and in their professional life. Partner schools from the Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, Germany and Norway compile and document technology domains. State-specific Topics such as corrosion prevention in countries with coastlines or other future technologies in which the country takes a top position and whose control represents a challenge will be treated. The pupils visualize operational sequences and technological coherence in the form of picture, diagrams, designs. Resultant from this are learning aids, which help both, slow learners and pupils of other countries to understand high technological workflow. The multinational project “Comenius Technology Challenge” makes a contribution to take away the pupils fear to technological coherence in order to prepare them to face up to the technology challenge. The pupils compile state-specific main focuses of technology, help themselves mutually and exchange the results with the partner schools in order to let others partake in their knowledge. |
